Members of SVG Hotel & Tourism Association to benefit from International Marketing and Branding Workshop


Since March 2010, the SVG Chamber of Industry and Commerce Inc (SVGCIC) has been hosting sessions under the Developing East Caribbean Business Organizations (DECBO) project. DECBO, an EU PRO€INVEST Programme aims to build the institutional capacity of participating organisations.


On Wednesday 28th September 2011, members of SVG Hotel & Tourism Association attended  one of these sessions on  “ International Marketing and Branding” at the Knowledge Institute Conference Room, Halifax Street, Kingstown. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ ability to gain new clients/customers and penetrate new markets, by demonstrating how to align their resources with the opportunities in the marketing environment.  Members of the Association that attended were:

This one day workshop was facilitated by Mr. Ian Ivey, a highly regarded International Marketing and Branding Specialist. Mr. Ivey has over thirty-five (35) years experience in both public and private sector development business strategic planning and has been involved in developing businesses from investment stage through to commercialisation.
